091031 Atascadero Paso
Lynn and I visited north county for a couple days. Loved the Carlton Hotel in Atascadero. We visited (in the order of these photos) Sculpterra Winery, Green Acres Lavender Farm, Eagle Castle Winery, Pasolivo (olive oil), Mt. Olive (animal pics, don't bother otherwise), and downtown Paso Robles where Arroyo Robles Winery is. Arroyo Robles is one of the few sparkling wine producers in north county. We wanted to eat at the Range in Santa Margarita on the way home, but we were greeted there by a handwritten sign saying "Closed for Halloween"; so we ate at Korbel Blue in SLO. Not pictured was a stop at Wild Coyote for their fabulous port. We also visited the Atascadero Starbucks on the occasion of Jen's last day as manager there; she goes to manage the Starbucks at Grand and Courtland in AG this coming week. We enjoyed a bottle of Sculpterra's Viognier in their sculpture garden, and had a thoroughly scrumptious lunch/pairings (Weds-Sun 11:30-3:30) at Eagle Castle.
